This changelog started 2026-08-27. It lists customer-facing changes going forward, plus a few recent highlights, it isn't a complete history back to launch.
Trust page accuracy pass
Corrected the region and encryption-at-rest claims on our privacy policy and DPA to match reality, added an explicit threat model to the security page, and published a full responsible-disclosure policy with an RFC 9116 security.txt.
Public status page and verified backups
status.auditrails.io went live. Nightly database backups are now backed by real, dated restore drills, not just scripts that were assumed to work.
Open-source verifier and security page
Released an independent, open-source command-line tool that verifies an exported audit log's hash chain without trusting our infrastructure, and published a full security and compliance-posture page.
Pricing now shown in EUR
Switched pricing display from USD to EUR across the site (same underlying figures).
API versioning and deprecation
Our public API is versioned in the URL path (/v1/...). We won't make a breaking change to a given version without shipping a new one first. When a version is deprecated, we give at least 6 months' notice here and by email to affected API keys before it stops accepting requests.
